
The Georgia and Florida No. 2 is a type of 4-4-0 "American Standard" steam locomotive that was built in 1873 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works for the Central Railroad and Banking Company of Georgia as engine number 75.
It was later transfer, and owned by the Central of Georgia Railway as engine number 15 then later owned by Central of Georgia Railway as the 1214 series; then owned by Douglas, Augusta & Gulf Railroad as engine number 97; then last owned by Georgia and Florida Railroad as engine number 2.
After many years of working on the Georgia and Florida railroad the locomotive was retired from active service and it was later sold for scrap shortly after.
