No. 4115 was a 5101 class 2-6-2 steam locomotive that was built for the Great Western Railway by Swindon Works in October, 1936.
The engine was withdrawn from service in June, 1965. It was sold to the Woodham Brothers Scrapyard.
It remained at the scrapyard until being sold to the Didcot Railway Centre as a parts donor for the new GWR 4700 class No. 4709 and a new GWR 2221 class 4-4-2 county tank.
The frames of locomotive was scrapped in 2016.
