East Broad Top Railroad No. 11 was a 2-6-2 "Prairie" type steam locomotive built in February 1908 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works of Philadelphia, PA under works number 32664.
No. 11 was purchased in 1908 to serve on the East Broad Top Railroad (EBT). It become the first wide firebox locomotive to work on the line. No. 11 was so successful that the EBT decided to expand on the 2-6-2 Prairie design with an additional driving axle resulting in purchase of the 2-8-2 "Mikado" No. 12 and eventually the other five Mikados that remain at the EBT to this day. The six Mikados became the backbone of the EBT and within 12 years No. 11 had become one of the smaller locomotives serving on the EBT. Due to this, it was often used to work the Shade Gap and other branch lines as well as pulling the occasional Business car.
By 1943 it was reported as being off the roster. Sources vary on the exact fate of the locomotive but it is believed that No. 11 was either sold to the US Navy between 1942-1943 or was either sold to Luria Brothers in Coatsvill to be scrapped.
