Duluth, Missabe and Iron Range No. 110 is an EMD SD9 that was built by the Electro-Motive Division (EMD) for the Duluth, Missabe and Iron Range Railway (DM&IR).
History[]
Duluth, Missabe and Iron Range No. 110 was constructed by the Electro-Motive Division (EMD) and was first built as a demonstrator unit for EMD where it was first numbered as 5591, it was built by EMD to demonstrate the SD9 for all the railroads to buy.
EMD No. 5591 would eventually be delivered to the Duluth, Missabe and Iron Range Railway (DM&IR) after it was constructed where it was renumbered by Duluth, Missabe and Iron Range Railway to No. 110.
As of today, the current whereabouts of Duluth, Missabe and Iron Range Railway No. 110's is unknown.
