Rough Pup is an 0-4-0 saddle tank locomotive.



History[]

Rough Pup was built in 1891 by the Hunslet Engine Company as their builders number 541 and originally just number one and was later named Rough Pup. It was withdrawn from service in 1960 and sold to the Tywyn Narrow Gauge Museum at the wharf on the Talyllyn Railway in 1968 and has been on display there ever since.
