Sybil is a narrow gauge 0-4-0 saddle tank locomotive.



History[]

Sybil was built by W. G. Bagnall Limited in 1906 as works number 1706 for the Dinorwic Slate Quarry in North Wales, United Kingdom. Sybil worked at the quarry for practically it's entire industrial life and was purchased for preservation in 1965 by the Evans family for use on the Inney Valley Railway and later visited many other railways. It is currently under restoration at the West Lancashire Light Railway where it will operate and is owned by the Sybil Locomotive Trust.
