The locomotive known as "Jerry M" is one of two Tram/Mills class 0-4-0 saddle tank locomotives built by the Hunslet Engine Company of Leeds in 1895, under works number 638 for the Dinorwic Slate Quarry in Wales.

The locomotive was originally named "Vaenol" but it was changed to "Jerry M" whilst working at the quarry. She spent all of her working life at the quarry until it closed in 1969. The locomotive was sold at auction and purchased by Commander Baldock for use on his new railway in Liphook in Hampshire.

Today this railway has become known as the Hollycombe Steam Collection and "Jerry M" still operates there to this day.
