The locomotive known as "Cackler" is one of two Tram/Mills class 0-4-0 saddle tank locomotives built by the Hunslet Engine Company of Leeds in 1898, under works number 671 for the Dinorwic Slate Quarry in Wales.
In 1969 Cackler was moved to the Yaxham Park Light Railway (YPLR), which once ran for over ½ a mile in meadows beyond the station.
