The Denver and Rio Grande Railroad Class 45.5 was a class of 4-6-0 "Ten-Wheeler" Narrow-gauge steam locomotives with a total of eight examples built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works for the Denver and Rio Grande Railroad and later the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad.

They were all eventually withdrawn from revenue service and every single one of them were scrapped by 1916, thus rendering them extinct.
