Nipper was a 0-4-0 steam locomotive that was built for LNWR's Crewe Works Railway by Crewe Works in 1867.

Nipper and its siblings were used for shunting around Crewe Works. Nipper had a uneventful life intill being withdrawn along with Topsy, Midge and Dickie which was authorised by Captain H. P. M. Beames on 21 September 1929 and were scrapped.

However thats not the end of Nipper as Bury Transport Museum is currently building a replica of the engine but has been relocated to Statfold Barn Railway as the museum in order to create space to display John Cameron's LNER 'A4' Pacific No. 60007 Union of South Africa.
