Conrail No. 5052 was a B36-7 built in 1983. 5052 was the middle engine in the Chase, Maryland train collision which destroyed its cab. 11 years after being repaired at Juniata Shops in Altoona, PA, it was converted into CSX 5805. Afterwards in 2017 it was repainted into Conrail livery. Then it was sold again to Estrada de ferro Vitoria-Minas, where it was regauged to 1000mm gauge tracks and renumbered again as BB36-7 No. 744, It still operates to this day.
