Comal Power Plant No. 1 is an 0-4-0ST steam locomotive built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1925 for the Comal Power Plant where it worked as a switch engine.
In 1925, it was sold to the UGI Contracting Co. at New Braunfels, TX, then 2 years later in 1927, it was sold to the San Antonio Public Service Co.
In 1942, No. 1 was Corp. Sale to the San Antonio Public Service Board & Lower Colorado River Authority.
In 1964, the locomotive was retired from active service, and it was donated to the Texas Transportation Museum where it resides today.
