The China Railways Gong Jian Class (lit. "engineering") are a class of 122 0-6-0T type steam locomotives they were built by the Chengdu locomotives works, and the Taiyuan locomotive works in between 1958-1961 for the China Railways.
Many of these engines were used at steel works to work as switchers, while others were also used as pilot locomotives at railway factories.
Some of these units remained in use until the 2000s, after which they retired, and cut up for scrap.
Today there are only 5 of these locomotives left in existence.
