Chesapeake & Ohio No. 2789 is a 2-8-4 class K-4 steam locomotive built by the American Locomotive Company (ALCO) in 1947.

It was used to pull freight trains throughout its working life for the Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad until 1955 when it was retired.

In 1961, it was donated to the Miami County Steam Locomotive Association for display in West Side Park at Peru, Indiana.

The engine was removed from the park in 1986 and finally brought to the Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum in North Judson, Indiana in 1988 where it can be seen on display.
