Chesapeake & Ohio No. 2701 was a Class K-4 2-8-4 "Kanawha" type steam locomotive built for the Chesapeake & Ohio Railroad by Alco in 1943.
After it was retired from service, No. 2701 was placed on display in Buffalo, New York. Unfortunately it was vandalized beyond repair just a few months after being put on display and was eventually scrapped.
