Central Railroad of New Jersey No. 831 was a Class G-3s 4-6-2 "Pacific" type steam locomotive that was built in 1928 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works for the Central Railroad of New Jersey that headed "The Blue Comet".

The locomotive was taken out of service by 1955 and was cut up for scrap.

  • The locomotive is one of only 5 in this class, this 1928 Baldwin locomotive was a significant upgrade from the previous CNJ Pacifics.
