Central Pacific No. 41, otherwise named The Stanislaus is a 4-4-0 American steam locomotive.
History[]
Built in the 1867 by Schenectady Locomotive Works for the Central Pacific's Rawlins and Green River Line, No. 41 was just working as a simple mixed passenger locomotive until 1882 when it was rebuilt into a 4-4-2T and just in the time of the thriving American west but by 1901 the "Comet" was sidelined after being sold back to Schenectady for scrap value but wouldn't be scrapped but instead saved.
