Central Pacific No. 229 is a 4-8-0 type steam locomotive that operates on the Central Pacific Railroad.
History[]
Built in 1882 by the Sacramento Shops for Central Pacific Railroad it was one of the heavy powerful locomotives to handle freight trains over the Sierra Nevada at Donner Summit.

- This engine was featured in the game ”TrainStation 2” for a limited time.
- The two twin locomotives #77 and #5 from Walt Disney's "The Brave Engineer" is based on this engine and are named Zeb and Zeek in Casey Jr. the Circus Train and Friends and The Railways of Crotoonia as #32 and #33.
