Canadian Pacific No. 314 was a 2-8-0 "Consolidation" type steam locomotive built in 1886 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works for the Canadian Pacific Railroad.
It spent years working on the Canadian Pacific Railroad hauling freight trains and passenger trains and also used to assist trains on Big Hills.
In 1899 it ran away and derailed somewhere in Canada, killing its crew.
A few years later it was rebuilt and renumbered as No. 732 but this time climbing a big hill in another part of Canada.
It blew itself to pieces and killed another crew and It was once again repaired, and it went up and down the hill once more for 30 more years; by then she was retired and sold for scrap.
