The Canadian Pacific Class H1b were a series of 4-6-4 "Hudson" Type steam locomotives that operated on the Canadian Pacific Railway.
History[]
Ten of these engines were built by the Montreal Locomotive Works in 1930 and were numbered 2810-2819.
Just like the previous H1a class they were designed to carry passengers trains throughout Canada.
By the late 1950s all by one of H1bs have been scrapped as the diesels replace. Today only one member survives #2816 which was based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada but as of 2023, it is Undergoing a rebuild.
