The Canadian Pacific Class H1a were a series of 4-6-4 "Hudson" Type steam locomotives that operated on the Canadian Pacific Railway.
History[]
Ten of these engines were built by the Montreal Locomotive Works in 1929 and were numbered 2800-2809.
They were designed to carry passengers trains throughout Canada.
By the late 1950s these engines were all removed from service once diesel locomotives started to replace steam. They were all sold for scrap leaving no surviving examples of this class.
