Canadian National No. 7312, also known as Strasburg Railroad No. 31, is an O-9-a class 0-6-0 "Switcher" type steam locomotive that operates at the Strasburg Rail Road in Strasburg, Pennsylvania. It was originally built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in August 1908 for the Canadian National Railway (CN). It was the first locomotive to be purchased and operated by the Strasburg Rail Road in 1960 where it has been running ever since. When it first entered service on the Strasburg Rail Road, it was renumbered to 31, but in 2008, it was renumbered back to 7312.

No. 7312 is currently out of service for an eventual overhaul that has been carried out since early 2009. The locomotive's restoration work was, for a long time, halted due to the railroad keeping up in operating their three other locomotives, those being former Great Western 2-10-0 No. 90, former Canadian National 2-6-0 No. 89, and former Norfolk & Western 4-8-0 No. 475. In July 2021, the restoration work continued for a short time, only to be halted indefinitely again in August 2022 supposedly due to financial issues with the Strasburg Rail Road. However, it was moved to the back shop in early 2023 where restoration work resumed once again. The Strasburg Rail Road has been saying that they're trying to get it eventually rebuilt as quickly as possible, especially since 2-10-0 No. 90 is due to be taken out of service for its Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) federally mandated 1,472-day boiler inspection and overhaul sometime in early 2024.
