Locomotive Wiki

Canadian National No. 2141 is a class M-3-d 2-8-0 steam locomotive built by the Canadian Locomotive Co. in 1912 for the Canadian Northern Railway.

It ran on the Canadian National Railway for many years until it was retired from active duty in 1958, and it was sold to the City of Kamloops in 1961, and placed on display in Riverside Park until restoration work began in 1995.

The locomotive now runs on the Kamloops Heritage Railway in Kamloops, British Columbia, where it worked hauling tourists trains until about 2020, where increased traffic along the tracks that it used for excursions were busy with coal drags.
