California Western Railroad No. 44 was a Baldwin Class 12-32 ¼ E 2-8-2 "Mikado" type steam locomotive built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works of Philadelphia, PA in 1930.

It used to work for the Lamm Lmbr as #3. It was scrapped in 1952 shortly after.
