79 was a class 66 4-4-0 built for the Caledonian Railway by St. Rollox Works in 1889. 79 was a passenger engine for the CR along with its siblings. In 1895 it was named "Carbrook", the only engine to have a name of the class. In 1920 it was renumbered 1079 but that didnt lasted long as it was renumbered to 14297. The engine was withdrawn in 1928 as 14297 and was scrapped.
