No. 6315 is a class M-4A 2-10-4 steam locomotive built by Baldwin in 1927 for freight service. 6315 and the other M-4 class engines were called "Colorados" and not "Texas" types. 6315 and its class pulled drag freight trains and later fast freight trains after its rebuild.
