Black Hills Central No. 7 is a "Prairie" 2-6-2 steam locomotive built in 1919 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works for the Ozan-Graysonia Lumber Co. as #2.

In 1938, it served on the Prescott & Northwestern, an Arkansas short line, before moving to Hill City, South Dakota for tourist service in 1962.

It was sold to the Black Hills Central railroad in 1961, where it pulled a standard gauge tourist train from Keystone to Oblivion, where it met the narrow gauge train. When that became too expensive to operate, #7 pulled the train the entire distance between Hill City and Keystone.

Today the locomotive is still at the Black Hills Central railroad but as of 2024, its now a static display.
