Baltimore and Ohio No. 98 was one of four 0-4-0ST C-16 Class steam locomotives by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1912 for the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad. It worked in service as a switcher along the waterfront in Baltimore, Maryland. The diminutive size and short wheelbase was required to handle the tight curves of these lines. During its time in operation, the locomotive earned the nicknames "Dockside" and "Little Joe" from the workers. In 1950 No. 98 was renumbered to 898 and was eventually scrapped in 1951 along with the other three locomotives of this class.
