The Baldwin DRS-6-6-1500 was a series of 83 diesel-electric locomotives that were built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works for several railroads between February 1948 and July 1950.

Technical Specifications[]

Regarding technical specifications, the DRS denoted Diesel Road Switcher, the two 6s denoted either six axles or the 608SC prime mover, and the 1500 denoted that it could generate 1,500 horsepower (1,100 kW).
