Alaska Railroad No. 1076 was an Alco RF1A diesel locomotive built in 1943 by the American Locomotive Company(ALCO). It was originally built for the US Army as RSD1 No. 8046. The Alaska Railroad acquired No. 8046 along with several other RSD1 locomotives in 1949 and rebuilt them all into RF1As in 1950 with this particular one becoming No. 1076. It was retired from service and was scrapped in 1973.
