Alaska Railroad No. 1051 was an Alco RF1A diesel locomotive built by the American Locomotive Company(ALCO) in 1943 under works number 70675. It was originally built for the US Army as RSD1 No. 8054. The Alaska Railroad acquired No. 8054 along with several other RSD1 locomotives in 1947 and rebuilt them all into RF1As in 1950 with this particular one becoming No. 1051. It was retired from service in 1964 and was scrapped sometime between 1965-1967.
